I Drive A Dodge Stratus
Monday we purchased a 98 Dodge Stratus and it is the nicest car we have ever owned. Finally making a decision on a car has been such a relief. We got a really good deal, and compared to our 93 ford tempo with mercury parts, it is amazing. It even has a tailpipe. Really, what more could you ask for? We got the windshield replaced today (it had a crack in it) and tomorrow we are going to have our mechanic look at it. I am hoping nothing is wrong with it, but I have been so worried that something is wrong. I read on the internet yesterday that stratuses have been known to start on fire after long city driving. Hmm. hope that doesn't happen to us. I had a dream last night that our car just started falling apart. Literally. I know I need to relax and that there will be something wrong with the car eventually. I just hope it isn't tomorrow and that it doesn't catch on fire any time soon.
Also, we have been enjoying life after ovcc. It has been so refreshing to not have to be at church at 9am. We choose to go. And last week we chose not to go. This Sunday I have no idea where we will go, but I am sure it will be a blessing wherever we go.
Summer celebration is now over. And now begins the rest of the season of the festivals. Saturday is BBQ Fest. And in August is Moosefest. Then there is Greek Fest and later Unity. There are others but I can't remember them. I have enjoyed living in the Amazon, but I am glad that next year we won't be around for all of the fests.

1 - today our car got a "clean" bill of health. Well - he said, "huh... that is an odd noise...." So Tara says... "Is that an engine knock?" And he says, "You know, I don't know what that is..... some engines just make weird noises, so, it might be nothing at all..."
:-)
2 - (see I can do it too) - Fests are Fun, but Frightining unFortunitly.
